The All India Fatwa Board derives its scholarly spirit and guiding philosophy from the luminous legacy of Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (رحمہ اللہ), the reviver of the 19th century whose contributions to Islamic jurisprudence, theology, spirituality, and social reform continue to shape Sunni scholarship across the world. His unmatched command over Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, logic, philosophy, languages, and contemporary sciences created a model of scholarship that was deeply rooted in tradition yet fully aware of the changing needs of society.
Alongside Aala Hazrat, we remain deeply inspired by the teachings of the great Sufi scholars of the Indian subcontinent such as Khwaja Garib Nawaz, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, Imam-ul-Auliya Ashraf Jahangir Simnani, Shah Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehlvi, and the numerous saints who illuminated this land with their message of love, compassion, justice, and unity.
